Define Fitness Coaches

Our Coaches will come to your school and take your students through a combination of group activities and a variety of challenging exercises that will get them moving. In our experience, the students who have participated in our programs have found them highly motivating and enjoyable. In particular, the students who are completing their High School Certificate have been challenged to develop more resilience and discipline related to their health and well-being and general approach to life.

All of our Define Fitness Coaches possess an extensive range of qualifications and have all taken a different pathway to get to where they are today. Define Fitness continues to grow as a highly successful fitness and coaching service in and around Canberra and because of this our Coaches continue to gain more and more experience with a variety of clients who each present with different goals and expectations.

So far at Define Fitness we have conducted school sessions entailing the following topics:

  • One-to-one sessions funded by NDIS and School allocated funding
  • Small Group Training, for 3-10 students with Special Needs
  • Boxing classes as part of year 6 to 7 transition programs
  • Seminars on Healthy Minds and Healthy Bodies
  • Stretching Classes and Core Yoga Principles
  • Mindfulness and life appreciation sessions
  • Yoga Flow Classes for groups of 15+ Students
  • Bootcamp (non-military) Classes for groups of 15+ Students
  • Group Fitness Classes for Teachers as part of their individual Health and Well-being Program
  • Goal setting and exercise sessions

To ensure the students gain the most from our sessions, all participants will be given the opportunity to practice what they are learning by using the equipment, trialling some of the more difficult exercises and experience how to train with peers or groups with different of fitness levels.

An example of a some of the sample class sessions are as follows:

  • Warm Ups
  • Circuit Training
  • Boxing
  • Sports Specific Training
  • Weight loss exercises
  • Core exercises
  • Small group training
  • Team Bonding skills
  • Fun fitness games
  • Cool Down and Stretching
  • All sessions will close with time for questions.

We will supply our own equipment and if needed may use some of the schools equipment and whatever space is available i.e. the school gym or an outside area. If you require the session to focus on a particular area or concept we are more than happy to tailor our lesson towards this to ensure your students get the most out of our interactive presentation/s.
